Our History
Solera Awnings was founded in 1968 by two RV enthusiasts, James Wilson and Mark Anderson. As avid campers themselves, James and Mark recognized the need for durable and easy-to-use awnings and accessories suited for RVs. After designing a spring-loaded awning that could be opened or closed within minutes, they officially launched Solera.
Our original patio awning was met with huge success amongst the RV community. As demand grew, we expanded our product line to include a wide assortment of RV awning replacement parts and accessories. This allowed us to become a one-stop-shop for all RV patio needs.
Over the years, Solera has cemented itself as the leading manufacturer of RV awnings and accessories. Our Facility
Solera Awnings operates out of a state-of-the-art 150,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This facility contains our corporate offices, factory assembly lines, and distribution center.
Our dedicated research and development team works right onsite to design new products and rigorously test them for quality and durability. We manufacture all of our awnings, motors, fabric, and parts in-house, adhering to strict quality control protocols. This ensures our products meet our unwavering standards.
Our warehouse and distribution teams work around the clock to process orders and ship products directly to dealers and consumers across North America. Our centralized location allows us to quickly and efficiently distribute Solera Awnings products.
